Cancer Cup Final

Leamington Hibernian take the honours

In a very competitive game played in windy conditions at Leamington F.C.,Leamington Hibernian had a penalty claim turned down before conceding one to holders Westlea Wanderers which was duly despatched by Neil Stacey. Shortly before the break, however, Hibs were back on level terms thanks to a Steve Barnes goal. Westlea again seized the initiative after the break with Craig Watkin scoring direct from a free-kick but Hibs fought back to force extra-time when sub. Kyle Crowley shot home in a crowded penalty area. With no further goals in open play, it was Hibs who took the honours, winning the penalty shoot-out 6-5.
