Division 2

Leaders hit for six by Westlea Wanderers Reserves

Westlea Wanderers Reserves put themselves back in the title race with a 6 - 0 win at leaders Leek Wootton Adults. Duncan Hughes led the way with a hat-trick and further goals from Andy Smith, John Blunson and veteran Paul Frost secured the win.

At the other end of the table, Khalsa Reserves and Leamington Juniors finished all square at 2 - 2. Manjit Chokran and Steve Prestidge goals for the home side being cancelled out by strikes from Craig Reeves and Lewis Alexander for Juniors.

Division 3

Chadwick End head back to the top

Leaders Bubbenhall could only muster a 2 - 2 scoreline at Bishops Tachbrook S&SC. 2 goals from Neil Woodfield securing the draw as Dan Brooks and Ium Markopolous scored for the hosts.

This allowed Chadwick End to move back into pole position with a 4 - 0 win at Hope & Anchor. Doing the damge for the visitors were Paddy Grace, John Creba, Tom Sutheran and Ross Jackson.

Radford Albion had no joy against a rampant Warwick Wanderers who ran out 7 - 0 winners. On the mark for the home side were Karl Symes (2), Sub Tom O'Loughlin (2), David Briggs, Tom Harris and Butho Sibanda.

Kenilworth Town also  scored seven as Daniel Long (4), Paul Fitzpatrick, Daniel Cornes and Robert Taylor led them to a 7 - 1 home win over Whitnash Reserves.

Josh Remi and Mark Robbins snatched the points for AFC Warwick in a 2 - 1 win against Heathcote Athletic whose reply came from Anthony Batchelor.

Grant Wragg (2) and brother Lloyd scored in Kineton S&SC's 4 - 1 win at Ettington Rovers. Don Hartland hit the fourth with the reliable Alex Pitt scoring for the hosts.

 Division 4

Joy at last for Cubbington Albion Reserves

Cubbington Albion Reserves secured their first win (and points) of the campaign with a 2 - 1 success at 3rd placed Hampton Magna, Dan Watt and Sam Smith scoring each side of Daljeet Johal's effort for the hosts.

"Cracking game played in an excellent spirit and one of the best games I have done all season" wrote referee Luke Fogarty of the 3 - 3 draw between leaders Holly Bush and visitors Murphys. Goals from Joe Browne (2) and Mike Deas for the Bush being cancelled out by Jamie Byrne, Luke Wilson and David Jones.

Mark Smith, Tim Rainbow, Tim Dearing and Jimmy Williams goals gave Liberal Club 'C' a 4 - 0 victory over Woodloes Tavern.

Wellesbourne improved their mid-table position with Brian Wilkins and Robbie Okines giving them a 2 - 0 win over Stockton.

 Andy Campbell Cup - Round 1

Chadwick End Reserves and Cubbington Albion progress

In an all Division 5 tie, leaders Chadwick End Reserves ousted Priors United 3 - 1 with goals from Danny Chinn, Danny Morris and Thomas Harris proving too much against Dale Phillips' reply.

Division 5's bottom team Kineton S&SC Reserves were no match for Cubbington Albion from Division 2, losing 10 -1. Tom Gardner scored their only goal in the first half but strikes from Luke Swinnerton (3), Jake Montgomery (3), Tom Poland, Jamie Hancox, Paul Mulroney and Pete Evans gave the visitors an emphatic victory.

 Cancer Cup Round 2

Leam Spartans through to Round 3

Division 2 side Leam Spartans progress to Round 3 with a 2 - 1 win over Division 1's Khalsa. Nick Ford gave Spartans the lead only for Munpreet Veirk to equalise. A spirited Spartans went on to win the tie, however, with a last minute strike from Paul Murphy.

Royals upset Whitnash

Another Division 2 side to progress against higher division opposition were Leam Royals who won 4 - 3 at Whitnash. Goals from Dan Green, Jamie Goode and James Urquart not enough as Paul Holland, Marc Passey, Andy Yeates and Henry Eddy secured the win for the visitors.

A potential shock looked on the cards as Heart of England went in at half-time with a 1 - 0 advantage over Westlea Wanderers. The visitors, however, turned up the heat in the second period to run out 10 - 2 winners with goals from Greg Sherrington (3), Luke Cole (2), Lewis Scott (2), Glen webb, Baz Hobbins and Adam Harte.

 Cancer Supplementary Cup Round 2

Warwick Railway- just

11 goals shared at Radford Semele as Warwick Railway sneak through  with a 6 - 5 result. Ben Langley, Seb Rockcliffe, Mark Welford and Matty Anderson for Radford (other scorer not known) not quite enough as goals from Olly Boyle, Jase Holland, Beau Clarke, Lee Burden, Danny Meades and Scott Easterlow give Railway the win.

Bishops Itchington also go through with a 6 - 2 win over Dynamo Leamington. On the mark for the hosts were Matt Trinder (2), James Etheridge, Ben French, Jordan Cox and Aaron Habel. Dynamo's goals from Seb Burton and Nick Tiday.

Division 1 side Harbury Albion made hard work of their game against Division 4 opposition WD Long Itchington before going through 2 - 1. Jamie Bodfish gave gave the visitors the lead only for Ricky Hasprey and Mitch Matthews to snatch the win.
